Make one unhurried final pass
Prepare the application when you can see your passport clearly and review the whole form without distraction. If another person is helping, check the completed details yourself before submission.
- Copy from the travel document. Compare names, passport number, nationality and dates directly with the passport. Pay attention to similar-looking letters and numbers.
- Check the purpose. Select the route that describes your actual visit, not simply the one with the lowest fee.
- Test your access to the email account. You need to receive and retrieve the outcome while planning and travelling.
- Check the website address. Use the official government portal for the government application. A polished design or the word “visa” in a domain name does not establish official status.
- Understand the charge. Separate government fees from any private service fee and review the terms before paying.
- Keep the submission and outcome. Save your reference and then check for the actual decision. Do not confuse an acknowledgement with permission.
Already submitted something incorrect?
Use the official contact route and explain the issue. Ask what correction or new submission is required for your case. Avoid making up a replacement value or submitting several applications without guidance.
For the next step, use our status guide or return to the application overview. Never send us passport scans to request a correction; this website is not an application processor.
Wrong details after submission
The official sample acknowledgement says submitted information cannot be amended directly. It describes requesting cancellation through its listed official addresses, then submitting again after cancellation is confirmed. Check those instructions and the contact details on the official service before acting; cancelled applications are not refunded.
Explain the exact error and keep the original reference. Do not change a different field to compensate for a mistake. If a third party submitted the form, establish which email address was used and who will receive the authority’s response.
A renewed or replaced passport
Compare the travel document number with the approval before departure. If the passport has changed, ask immigration what replacement or new application is needed. Carrying both passports should not be assumed to resolve the mismatch automatically.
Review names, nationality and travel purpose at the same time. For family applications, repeat the check for every traveller.
A payment error or interrupted application
Save the transaction reference and the message shown, excluding unnecessary card details. Check whether an application reference and a payment record both exist. Use the official support route to resolve an unclear transaction before paying again.
Continue to status guidance or processing time. Do not send us passport scans, card details or private application records.
Official correction instructions
Check the linked official information again before applying or travelling. The authorities determine individual visa and entry decisions.
